I am David Sichinava, assistant professor of human geography at Tbilisi State University, Georgia and senior policy analyst at CRRC-Georgia, a Tbilisi-based think-tank. I hold my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the same university. I spent Fall semester of 2016 at the University of Colorado Boulder as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar.

In short, my research interests spin around politics and space. From the methodological standpoint, I’m interested in all things data, being it quantitative or qualitative. Together with colleagues at Georgica, I maintain an annotated bibliography and a database about Georgia.
